Glass bead blasting utilises small spherical acrylic beads which leaves a semi-polished finish to the metal being cleaned. Primarily, it is used on stainless steel and aluminium surfaces as it does not remove any metal and is approved for food and pharmaceutical use. This media is used in a clean environment therefore jobs must be clean of all oils and grease before they can be blasted.
